The Children with Special Health Care Needs Services Program (CSHCN) helps children 20 and younger who have special health care needs and people with cystic fibrosis of any age improve their health, well-being and quality of life.
Focused on family-centered and community-based strategies, the CSHCN program ensures families get services that honor and respect their cultural beliefs, traditions and values. In addition, the program encourage all children to feel connected to and a part of their community as well as the need to be connected to other people. Our wellbeing depends on the relationships we develop with others in our community, such as colleagues, neighbors, teammates, shopkeepers, or interest groups.
