For more than 50 years, the Angelina County & Cities Health District continues to Work Toward A Healthier Tomorrow by protecting and promoting the health and safety of the people in Angelina County. The Health District offers a broad range of public health services and provides a comprehensive medical home for lower income and uninsured families who reside in Angelina county. Our daily mission and purpose is to ensure that you can live your best life.

2025-2026 Strategic Plan Priorities

The Angelina County & Cities Health District has instituted a strategic plan to establish and enact goals for our community. After constructive feedback, your health district has prioritized three areas:

• Building sustainable, cross sector partnerships to extend our impact and improve service.
• Building awareness, credibility and clarity around our role in the community and the services we provide for Angelina County residents.
• Shifting from reactive to preventive care through education and early intervention.

By prioritizing these areas, ACCHD aims to better fill the needs of the communities we serve and our organization itself.
